CAREERS
At State of Georgia Roleplay, we offer structured staff and management careers that are essential to maintaining an organized, immersive, and professional roleplay experience within Emergency Response: Liberty County (ERLC). Our staff system is divided into four key categories: Moderation, Admin, Management, and Internal Affairs. Each career path plays a crucial role in supporting the community's operations and ensuring that members adhere to the highest standards of roleplay.
Moderation Ranks
Moderators are the frontline staff responsible for maintaining order and enforcing community rules during roleplay scenarios. Their primary role is to ensure that players follow SOGRP's guidelines and engage in fair, respectful roleplay. Moderation ranks offer growth opportunities as staff members gain experience and take on more responsibilities.
-
Junior Moderator: As an entry-level position, Junior Moderators assist in monitoring roleplay sessions and enforcing basic rules. They report violations to senior staff, assist with player support, and observe how more experienced moderators handle disputes and issues.
-
Moderator: As a full Moderator, you will actively intervene in roleplay situations to resolve conflicts, address rule violations, and help maintain a high standard of roleplay. Moderators also engage with players to answer questions and provide support during roleplay sessions.
-
Senior Moderator: Senior Moderators are experienced staff members who take a leadership role within the moderation team. They handle more complex situations, mentor Junior Moderators, and ensure that the overall environment remains respectful and orderly. Senior Moderators may also contribute to training new moderators.
Admin Ranks
Admin staff take on broader responsibilities within the community, managing both the technical and social aspects of the server. They have more authority than moderators and are often involved in decisions regarding gameplay enhancements, event coordination, and community management.
-
Junior Admin: Junior Admins oversee the work of moderators and ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. They handle escalated player issues, manage reports, and assist in minor server management tasks like configuring settings or setting up new features for roleplay events.
-
Admin: Admins have increased authority, handling complex disputes, managing large-scale events, and implementing gameplay improvements. They work closely with Management to ensure that the server’s roleplay systems run efficiently and players are engaged. Admins are also responsible for promoting players to staff positions and contributing to the development of community policies.
-
Senior Admin: Senior Admins are key decision-makers within the staff hierarchy. They lead the Admin team, oversee major server operations, and provide high-level problem-solving in challenging roleplay situations. Senior Admins are responsible for mentoring and training Admins and Junior Admins, and they coordinate closely with Management on strategic initiatives for the server.
Management Ranks
The Management team provides leadership and strategic direction for the entire community. Managers work across all departments, overseeing staff performance, coordinating large-scale community activities, and ensuring that SOGRP’s vision is carried out effectively. Managers are responsible for setting community policies, handling escalated issues, and managing internal staff relations.
-
Junior Manager: As a Junior Manager, you are involved in supervising the Admin and Moderation teams, helping to set priorities, and ensuring that staff duties are carried out efficiently. Junior Managers also help to implement new community initiatives and assist in administrative tasks like scheduling staff or coordinating events.
-
Manager: Managers are responsible for overseeing the operations of their assigned departments (Police, EMS, Fire, Civilian, etc.). They manage department-specific issues, handle high-level conflicts, and guide their team members to ensure smooth roleplay experiences. Managers play a key role in decision-making, liaising with Senior Management to align department goals with the overall community vision.
-
Senior Manager: Senior Managers have the highest level of authority within the Management team. They are responsible for making high-level operational decisions and implementing long-term strategies for the community. Senior Managers coordinate with department heads, Admins, and Internal Affairs to oversee the development and success of SOGRPC, including staff management, event planning, and community outreach.
Internal Affairs Ranks
The Internal Affairs (IA) division is critical for maintaining staff accountability and upholding the integrity of SOGRP’s policies and regulations. IA staff investigate staff-related incidents, ensure that all personnel follow community rules, and foster a fair and transparent environment within the staff team.
-
Internal Affairs Investigator: IA Investigators handle the day-to-day investigations of staff misconduct or disputes. They review reports, gather evidence, and conduct interviews to ensure that incidents are handled fairly and with full transparency. IA Investigators work closely with Management to resolve issues and recommend corrective actions if needed.
-
Internal Affairs Supervisor: As a supervisor, you will oversee multiple IA investigations and ensure that all cases are handled efficiently and thoroughly. IA Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that investigations are impartial and compliant with SOGRP’s policies. They also manage the performance of IA Investigators and provide feedback on how to improve staff accountability.
-
Chief of Internal Affairs: The Chief of Internal Affairs is the highest-ranking officer within the IA department. This role involves managing all IA operations, making final decisions on staff investigations, and working closely with Senior Management to implement disciplinary actions if necessary. The Chief also establishes standards for staff conduct and works to prevent incidents through policy development and training programs.
