TEAM RESTRICTIONS

Atlanta Police Department (APD) Restrictions for Free Players:

  1. Limited Patrol Areas:

    • Free players are restricted to patrolling designated lower-crime areas such as residential neighborhoods and suburban districts.
    • Access to high-priority areas like downtown business districts, government buildings, and industrial zones is reserved for higher-ranked or premium players.
    • Free players are not allowed to patrol near federal buildings, airports, or the highway, reducing their involvement in high-risk or sensitive incidents.
  2. Vehicle Restrictions:

    • Free players have access to only the basic marked patrol cars, which may be slower and have less durability compared to advanced vehicles.
    • They are not permitted to use specialized vehicles like unmarked cruisers, SUVs, armored response vehicles, or tactical units such as the BearCat.
    • No access to motorbikes or helicopters.
  3. No Access to Specialized Equipment:

    • Free players are limited to standard police gear, such as:
      • Standard-issue handguns.
      • Basic handcuffs, radio, flashlight, and baton.
    • They are not allowed to carry more advanced weapons like rifles, shotguns, or sniper rifles, nor tools like tasers, spike strips, or tear gas.
    • Free players cannot wear advanced protective gear such as bulletproof vests with enhanced protection (only basic vests) or riot shields.
  4. No Access to Specialized Roles:

    • Free players cannot apply for or participate in special divisions such as SWAT, K9 units, detective squads, traffic enforcement, or air support.
    • Tactical operations and undercover missions are reserved for premium players or those who have reached higher ranks.
  5. Rank and Promotion Cap:

    • Free players are capped at a certain entry-level rank, such as Patrol Officer.
    • They cannot advance to senior roles such as Sergeant, Lieutenant, or Captain, limiting their authority in critical situations or command hierarchy.
    • Leadership positions in units or divisions, such as commanding a team or handling shift management, are restricted for free players.
  6. Limited Dispatch Interaction:

    • Free players can report incidents and receive general assignments but are not allowed to request advanced services from dispatch, such as setting up roadblocks, requesting backup helicopters, or engaging in high-tech surveillance.
    • They may only report incidents of basic severity, while more complex calls are assigned to higher-ranked officers.
  7. No Pursuit Authority:

    • Free players are not authorized to initiate or participate in high-speed vehicle pursuits, especially those involving violent suspects or high-risk criminals.
    • They must radio in for assistance from premium or senior officers when encountering fleeing suspects, who will take over the chase or set up pursuit tactics.

Georgia Department of Transport (DOT) Restrictions for Free Players:

  1. Vehicle Limitations:

    • Free players are limited to operating basic DOT vehicles like standard tow trucks or small repair vehicles.
    • They do not have access to more specialized or heavy-duty vehicles such as large flatbed tow trucks, snowplows, or wreckers designed for larger vehicles like buses or semi-trucks.
    • Free players cannot operate DOT vehicles used for large-scale construction or emergency services like cranes or barricade trucks.
  2. Restricted Towing Zones:

    • Free players can only tow vehicles in low-priority areas like suburbs and minor roads.
    • They are not allowed to tow vehicles involved in incidents on highways, intersections, or critical infrastructure zones, which are reserved for premium players or higher ranks.
    • Towing near police incidents or accidents requiring special clearance is restricted.
  3. No Access to Advanced Traffic Control:

    • Free players are limited to basic road repair tasks (e.g., fixing potholes or minor road maintenance).
    • They cannot set up advanced traffic control equipment like electronic traffic lights, large barricades, or redirect high-traffic routes during accidents.
    • Complex traffic setups requiring coordination with emergency services are off-limits.
  4. Limited Bridge, Tunnel, and Highway Access:

    • Free players cannot perform maintenance or traffic control duties in high-stakes areas like major bridges, tunnels, or highways.
    • Such responsibilities, which often involve closing lanes or rerouting heavy traffic, are reserved for more experienced or premium players.
  5. Basic Repair Services Only:

    • Free players are restricted to performing basic road repairs, such as patching holes or towing small civilian vehicles.
    • They cannot perform power line repairs, restore downed traffic lights, or handle large road construction projects.
  6. Rank and Duty Cap:

    • Free players are capped at a junior role, such as Junior Operator.
    • They cannot oversee or manage large-scale DOT projects, nor can they serve in leadership roles like Supervisor or Senior Operator.
  7. No Emergency Response Authorization:

    • Free players cannot respond to major road emergencies such as severe accidents, pileups, or emergency vehicle breakdowns.
    • Tasks requiring rapid DOT response or coordination with the police/fire department are limited to premium or advanced players.

Atlanta Fire Department (AFD) Restrictions for Free Players:

  1. Vehicle Limitations:

    • Free players can operate only standard fire trucks and ambulances. These vehicles may have limited water capacity and slower response times.
    • They are restricted from using specialized vehicles like ladder trucks for high-rise fires, hazmat vehicles for chemical incidents, or helicopters for aerial firefighting or rescue missions.
  2. No Access to Advanced Firefighting Equipment:

    • Free players can use basic firefighting gear, such as standard fire hoses and extinguishers.
    • They do not have access to advanced tools like hydraulic rescue tools (e.g., Jaws of Life), thermal imaging cameras, or chainsaws for cutting through debris during rescue operations.
    • Specialized equipment such as aerial ladders, fire foam, or hazmat suits is restricted.
  3. No High-Risk Incident Response:

    • Free players can only respond to minor incidents like car fires, dumpster fires, and small house fires.
    • Large-scale emergencies such as building collapses, industrial fires, or multi-vehicle accidents are handled by premium players or senior-ranked firefighters.
    • They cannot assist in chemical or biological incidents, leaving those to specialized teams.
  4. Limited Medical Capabilities:

    • Free players are restricted to providing basic first aid, such as CPR or bandaging, during medical responses.
    • They do not have access to advanced medical equipment like defibrillators, trauma bags, or oxygen masks.
    • Medical emergencies requiring advanced life support or trauma intervention are left to premium players.
  5. Rank Cap:

    • Free players are capped at a basic role, such as Firefighter/EMT.
    • They cannot advance to ranks like Lieutenant, Captain, or Chief, limiting their decision-making abilities during operations.
    • Commanding fire scenes or leading rescue operations are restricted to higher-ranked or premium players.
  6. Restricted Access to Fire Investigations:

    • Free players are not permitted to assist in fire investigation or inspections.
    • They are restricted from determining the cause of a fire, such as identifying whether it was arson, electrical malfunction, or natural causes.
    • Only senior personnel or special investigation units can perform these tasks.
  7. Limited Training and Specialized Exercises:

    • Free players can participate only in basic drills, such as hose operations and ladder climbing.
    • They are not permitted to engage in advanced training sessions like high-rise rescues, hazmat containment, or major disaster drills.
